Grassroots and Gender Development Center (GGDC) is a Non-Governmental Organization endowed with a large task of supporting grassroots development in Nigeria. It focuses on improving the livelihood of the community through participatory and transformative programs and advocate for policies to protect the rights of vulnerable groups. It seeks to build a platform of concerned individuals and organizations to address the challenges of women, girls and children and take action for change.
GGDC serve its target communities and partners with unbiased working experience and provide high quality technical strategies designed for long term impact. We collaborate with other existing like minded organizations to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. We hopes to intensify communication and increase the representation of issues related to women’s health and rights within their grassroots communities.
Through volunteering concept and community involvement, the organization engage in vocational skills development. The organization carries out its activities through Interactive Dialogues, Health Promotion, Peer Education Training, Mentoring Programs, Collaborative Projects, Research and Documentation and Community Outreach.
